Involve works with the VCS sector in Maidstone by providing help and support on all aspects of establishing, running and developing the capacity of these groups and organisations.
In order to achieve this we offer the following services to groups:
The VCS Support service offer a range of training workshops and seminars either free or at low cost to the VCS, public and private sectors. Topics will include health and safety related accredited courses; Legal aspects to running your organisation; Trustee training; Marketing and Media training and Safeguarding. We are continually reviewing and developing our programme. If you have any particular training needs that you would like to discuss please contact the VCS Support Manager, Jacqueline Bobb. Involve offer free access to the Grants One Line database. In order to request a funding search please click here (download the Funding Database Search Request template) We can also send you regular up to date funding information; discuss your funding requirements and assist with funding bids and grants. INVOLVE run regular funding workshops and seminars covering the latest in funding opportunities and hints and tips for achieving better results.

Involve Kent recognise that VCS organisation benefit from one to one support at specific times and to know that there is always someone there that they can contact for support.
To this end we offer the following:-
- One to One support and mentoring i.e. a range of bespoke information, advice and guidance regarding start-ups; governance; policy and procedure development; factsheets, etc.
- Specialist Back Office Support
- Specialist Marketing and Communications Support
- Specialist Quality Assurance Mentoring
- Intensive one to one support to organisations through the STAMP programme
The CVS facilitate a range of networks and forums. The overall aim of them is to bring together like-minded people to strengthen the voice of the VCS sector; share information; and provide peer support. The forums invite our public and private sector partners to join us to engage and consult regarding issues affecting the VCS.
