Involve Carers were delighted to receive a donation of £2736.50 from 2 brothers and their friends who successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfeld Pike and Mount Snowdon in just over 24 hours.

Matt Dewing, Tom Dewing, Paul Tanton, Matt Judge, James Spice, Hannah Eastwood, Nico Bryant-Stevens, Jez Hughes all completed the challenge and raised funds. And a special mention goes to the groups’ driver Len Clarke.

Matt and Tom, who planned the challenge, were keen to raise money for a local charity, who would be able to make a real difference with the funds. Their mum is a Carer for their Dad and hearing about the support she has received from Involve Carers they decided to raise the money for the project.

Involve Carers Manager Jane Thomas received the cheque from Matt, Tom and Paul at the Involve Hub on Saturday 13th January. Jane said “this is a massive achievement from this group and we are overjoyed to receive this large donation to Involve Carers. It will enable us to run some special activities to bring together those caring for a family member or friend who may have become isolated due to their caring role”.

All donations made to Involve Carers are used for Carers activities, helping to support thousands of Carers across Maidstone & Malling.
