If you’re a Care Leaver aged 18 to 25 or a Looked After Child aged 16 to 18 and preparing for your independence, our Moving Forwards service is for you.
Whatever your goals or dreams may be, maybe it’s starting your career, developing your talents, finding a hobby, learning new skills, or dealing with your worries or problems… we can help!
Our Navigators understand the barriers and issues you might face and can help you achieve your goals.
One-to-one Support
Working alongside Social Services Personal Assistants, we can support you for up to 12 months face to face, by telephone, or online, prioritising what matters to you, your goals and aspirations. We will help you access opportunities, services, and activities to get your future on track.
Access to Services
We can help ensure you have a healthy future by helping you access relevant medical and wellbeing services.
Building your Future
We can connect you to education, employment, training and volunteering opportunities. We can also help you access funds so you can take part in activities and hobbies that interest you, support you to build social contacts, and prepare for the transition to independence and adulthood.
