Our commitment to lived experience
At Involve, we believe that engagement and participation are not just activities – they’re part of our culture. We are committed to working in partnership with individuals and communities to tackle issues, address inequalities, and improve health and wellbeing.
Employed lived experience
We are proud to employ staff with lived experience and are committed to ensuring their voices are heard in conversations and decision-making at every level of our organisation. Their insights help shape our work, strengthen our services, and keep us connected to the communities we support.
People who use our service
We actively facilitate engagement and participation with the people who use our services. Their lived experience is central to how we design, deliver, and continuously improve what we do.
One of the ways we do this is through our Forums. These are inclusive spaces where people can share their views, highlight priorities, and help shape the future of our services. We also run focus groups and are developing a network of steering groups to deepen collaboration and ensure lived experience continues to inform our work at every level.
Wider engagement and participation
We support people to contribute to external engagement and participation initiatives. We believe lived experience should be heard and valued across the wider system, and we’re committed to removing barriers to meaningful participation – ensuring people can have their voices included wherever decisions are being made.
If you have external engagement opportunities you’d like to share or explore with us, get in touch.
We are proud to be working in alignment with the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System’s Lived Experience Engagement and Employment Framework, and to have signed the KMPT Co-Creation Community Partnership Pledge.
We’d love to hear from you – whether it’s a comment, suggestion or general feedback. Please get in touch here.
