Caring for someone
Do you look after a partner, relative, or friend with a long-term physical or mental health condition, age-related difficulties, or addiction who could not manage without your support?
We support and empower you to live a fulfilling life alongside your caring role.
There are many reasons you may have to start caring for someone, and this can happen to anyone at any stage in their life. Research suggests that 65% of adults in the UK have cared for a loved one at some point in their life.
We understand that you may not think of yourself as a carer, but if you’re aged 16 and over and provide care and support to adult (18 and over), then our carers’ service is for you.
Read our latest newsletter below to find out about our latest events, courses and resources.
If you’re providing unpaid care and support, you can also access Kent County Council’s carer’s self-assessment and online advice, resources and support to help with your caring role.
Alternatively, please get in touch with us and we can help you through the the Carers Assessment process.
We provide carer support in the following locations; Maidstone, Tonbridge & Malling, Tunbridge Wells & Sevenoaks (not including Swanley area). If you’re unsure whether we can provide support to you, please get in touch.
