What we do
Involve are a charity providing community services and activities for people of all ages across Kent, improving health and wellbeing. We work closely with the NHS and local councils to help people overcome challenges, stay independent and lead happier, healthier lives.
We offer a wide range of activities such as social meetups, exercise classes, heritage trips, art, singing and gardening groups, enabling people to make friends and have fun.
We also help people access the services and support they need, such as housing, healthcare, social care, education, and benefits.
How Involve can help you
You can access information, advice, guidance and practical help to stay well, be independent, and live the life you want.
We do this in the best way for you; by phone, email, online, video call, in the community, or a home visit.
We focus on ‘What Matters to You’, enabling you to achieve your goals in the way you want, building support around you and making the most of the thousands of groups and services in Kent.
We will focus on you as a whole person, not just the issue or problem you are worried about.
If you look after or care for someone else, you can access dedicated support to help you keep caring, making sure you feel connected and know where to turn if needed.
If you’re feeling lonely or isolated, we can connect you to something fun and inspiring, based on your interests, your community, or others in similar circumstances.
If your health, mobility, or personal circumstances make things difficult for you, we can support you, working at your pace, even if you feel you are ‘housebound’.
Age is no barrier to our services; we work with families with young children all the way to end of life and bereavement.
If we don’t do it, we will know someone who can, and happy refer or signpost you.
