What we do
If you find yourself overwhelmed by the amount of information and decisions ahead, uncertain about what to do next, our ISVA team is here to help. They can guide you through the next step and provide support throughout the process.
When you have been abused you may feel alone and isolated. You may have lots of questions you need to ask. Our ISVA’s will provide you with emotional and practical support tailored to your needs. You may be considering or already have reported the incident to police. We can help keep you informed throughout the Criminal Justice Process. By working with you and other partners/agencies we will support you to have a voice when it may seem that everyone is speaking on your behalf.
Ways in which our ISVA service can help:
- Provide you with information of Support Agencies within Kent
- Help signpost you to other Services dependent on your individual needs
- Clearly explain the Police Process & Legal System
- Accompany you to the Police station, Court visits and Trial.
- Help you understand your entitlements and to know your rights
- Assist you with compensation claims
