What we do

Our Peer Partnership Project is a crisis recovery and prevention service, supporting individuals aged 17+ who live, or have a GP, in Dartford, Gravesham or Swanley, and who have recently experienced, or are at risk of experiencing, a mental health crisis.

The work follows a Peer Support model, utilising the lived experience of mental health issues of both the Peer Support Worker and the individual being supported.

The service offers both groups and/or 1:1 support.

Our 12 week groups will be a structured program of sessions that blend educational sessions on recovery-focused subjects around crisis prevention and better mental health, along with client-led sessions.

Some of the topics we will cover include: self-esteem, empowerment and resilience, the impact of trauma, self-care, managing emotions, coping strategies, and inter-personal relationships.
