What we do

Kent Wildlife Trust Wilder Wellbeing programmes are open to those who are over the age of 55, or under 55 with a long-term health condition (living in Maidstone). The programmes are based around nature connectedness using the five ways to wellbeing, and mindfulness. The programmes are 6 weeks long (not drop in sessions, participants are anticipated to attend the full 6 week programme), and currently take place on Monday afternoons at selected dates. They are free to attend however a registration form must be filled out to secure your space on the programme. The sessions (2 hours each week) are gentle paced, and take place at our Tyland Barn Nature Park which has sturdy paths and benches to sit on. Toilet facilities and a free car park are available for attendees to use. The next programme will run 25th January -29th February. For more information and to receive the registration form, please contact wilderwellbeing@kentwildlife.org.uk
