Peer Associate

Would you like to work for an innovative and progressive charity?  Involve Kent aims to improve health and empower people and communities to live well. We are looking for empathetic, proactive, child-centred people to join our Peer Associates Team.

Peer Associates are Lived Experience Practitioners who provide CYP and families with practical and emotional support and connect them to community services/assets including to a peer community of support with similar lived experiences. Peer Associates improve the experience of children and young people with learning disability, Autism or both, and their families/carers, supporting them to navigate complex care and support systems.

Please note, you must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for this role. This role also includes providing regulated activity with children/adults and employment is therefore subject to relevant checks with Disclosure and Barring service.
